YARN REPURPOSED AS NESTING MATERIAL
Last year, as part of the City's centennial celebration, students and
community services staff wrapped over 100 tree trunks in brightly
colored yarn as a cheerful installation to herald the return of Artist
Legend Peter Max to Beachwood.
Instead of disposing of the yarn, it has been cut into small pieces
to be repurposed as nesting material for birds and small animals.
Brightly-colored nesting material can be seen hanging from
City trees. These yarn balls can be spotted throughout the city park
and on city property. If you would like one for your yard call 216.292.1970.
