Editor's note: Kim Gray and I invite you to join TEAM ZELMAN &
ASSOCIATES as we honor my sister and Kim's co-worker and friend,
Darcy (Zelman) Alter, who lost
her battle to cancer late last year.
At last year's race, Darcy proudly
crossed the finish line. She told
us this was a special event that
was close to her heart, and she
felt so much love on this day. Let's
show her our
LOVE
again this year!
Please walk or run with us or
make a donation in support of
our fundraising efforts. Our goal
is to raise more than $20,000, and
we know we can do it for Darcy!
All donations help us get closer
to reaching our goal and all proceeds benefit The Gathering Place. To
make a donation, visit racefortheplace.com and do a team search for
Zelman & Associates. Thank you!

The event, which is Saturday, August 20, 7 pm at Fairmount Temple,
has become an annual event and an important start to the new
school year for our entire community. Last year's event was spectac-
ular and we expect to top it this year by distributing $5,000 in cash
prizes and a $2,000 grand prize. I invite you to attend the bash and
to spread the word! The cost is $50 per person and each reverse-raf-
fle ticket is also $50. The raffle is open to the community you do
not have to be present to win. Purchase tickets now at http://www.
beachwoodschools.org/Boosters.aspxas, as this event will sell out
again this year.
At last year's event, more than 250 people gathered to kick off the
start of the athletic season. Parents, community members and coach-
es mingled with City Council members and members of the Beach-
wood School board and Beachwood administration to celebrate the
upcoming season. The event was a success, raising nearly $50,000 for
the Beachwood Athletic Boosters, and we look forward to another
successful event this year!
Thank you for your continued support. If you have any questions,
please call me.
Sincerely,
Robert Marks
